Designed and deployed a scalable editorial and marketing collateral system in Adobe InDesign for ANA’s hybrid energy product division. Built a modular framework that standardized typography, page architecture, data presentation, iconography, and branded component libraries across technical white papers, fact sheets, executive collateral, and operational documentation.
Created reusable master templates and production workflows that enabled rapid deployment of multiple long-form documents under a compressed one-week launch timeline while maintaining visual consistency across all materials.
Role: Sole Designer
Collaboration: Marketing Director, Sales, Technical Services, Executive Stakeholders
Primary Software: Adobe InDesign
Supporting Tools: Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
Timeline: 8+ long-form documents completed within one week

THE CHALLENGE
ANA needed a repeatable content system capable of supporting rapid growth in marketing, sales enablement, and policy-facing communications.
The existing process suffered from:
• Inconsistent formatting across departments
• Slow production cycles for long-form collateral
• Dense technical information with poor scannability
• Lack of standardized visual hierarchy
• No reusable editorial framework
• High revision overhead during stakeholder review cycles
Simultaneously, multiple departments required updated materials within the same launch window, including sales, operations, technical support, and executive leadership communications.
INDESIGN SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
Built a modular Adobe InDesign production system using reusable paragraph styles, parent pages, grid structures, and scalable layout components to accelerate deployment across multiple document types.

WIREFRAMES & HIERARCHY EXPLORATION

Early layout exploration focused on creating a repeatable editorial hierarchy optimized for executive scannability, technical clarity, and modular content deployment.

CROSS-DOCUMENT SCALABILITY
The modular framework allowed rapid deployment across multiple collateral types without rebuilding layouts from scratch.
FINAL DELIVERABLES
Complex technical and policy information was translated into structured, executive-friendly editorial layouts optimized for rapid comprehension.

DATA VISUALIZATION & INFORMATION DESIGN
Integrated charts, KPI systems, telematics data, emissions reporting, and technical comparisons into modular editorial layouts optimized for readability and executive scanning.
OPERATIONAL COLLATERAL
The same scalable design framework was adapted for operational communication tools, executive fact sheets, and internal organizational resources.
OUTCOME & TAKEAWAYS
This project transformed a high-pressure production sprint into a scalable editorial system for ANA’s marketing, operational, and technical communications. By focusing on modular layouts, hierarchy, and reusable workflows, the system enabled rapid deployment without sacrificing consistency or clarity.
Key outcomes included:
• 8+ editorial documents completed within one week
• Established ANA’s first scalable InDesign-based editorial system
• Reduced production time for future releases
• Improved executive readability of technical content
• Standardized brand consistency across departments
• Created reusable templates for future campaigns and launches
This project reinforced the value of systems thinking in production design, especially when managing large volumes of technical content under aggressive timelines.
